Bro Randy is in recovery and doing well. Hopefully he will be able to go home today. Please pray for good results from his biopsy.
Also, Bro Alfred Adkins was admitted to St Mary’s yesterday with breathing problems. Please remember him when you pray as well.
I received the following email from my mother this morning and wanted to share it with you:
“I heard from Gail Taylor yesterday. Carl came home on Sun. He is wheel chair
bound and has a therapist coming in daily to keep him from staying that way, he
cannot walk is in a hospital bed. Will be
going to the doctor Fri. to see what his prognosis is and what if any treatment
he will get. His spirits are up and he’s put everything in GOD’s hands and will
accept what is to come. Please keep praying for him and the rest of the family.”
Last evening I received some news about Carl Taylor, one of the prayer requests from earlier this week. His wife, Gail, firstly wanted to thank each one who has whispered a prayer for them.
Carl is off the ventilator now and can speak a little but is very groggy from medication. He is still hooked up to a lot of monitors and on oxygen. At this point be is not able to eat; he hasn’t been able to keep food down for days. The doctors (he’s being attended by a team of “several”) expect he will be in the ICU at least another 48 hours.
As of last evening, there has still been no discussion of Carl’s prognosis or possible treatments. Why the doctors have yet to address this is unknown, it could be just a wait-and-see thing; hopefully that is the case. Nevertheless, his situation is still serious and very much up in the air.
